Certain registered awards and agreements allow annual leave to be paid for. Workers without bonuses and without a contract may agree with their employer to pay the annual leave at any time. However, in all cases, an employer may order annual leave, but only if a bonus or a registered contract allows it and the requirement is appropriate. Premiums and registered agreements can establish rules for the reception, management and granting of annual leave. A worker (with the exception of a casual worker) collects four weeks of paid annual leave for each year of service from the employer. Annual leave is not accrued on unpaid leave unless it is a service leave or if it is provided for in a premium or a registered contract. The amount is 6.65 euros per month for a full-time job. Part-time workers receive capital accumulation benefits relative to their normal working time. Apprentices and apprentices are entitled to payments of 13.29 euros per month. As of July 29, 2017, certain bonuses and registered agreements will be granted to workers with excessive annual leave balances the right to inform their employer of the leave.
